Kris has been teaching lunchtime Yoga classes at our company for 6 years now. I have benefited greatly from having her as a Yoga Instructor. She takes the time to explain the little things that keep you from hurting yourself as well as helping you advance.

There are many different levels of yoga students in our classes and she is good about guiding the more advanced students so that they don’t get bored while still focusing on the new students.

What I like most is that she takes the time to explain the proper way to do each pose and modifications for both easier and more advanced. I also really appreciate that if you are experiencing pain when you arrive at class, she listens and will work poses into the routine that will help you get back on track.

I've been taking Yoga class from Kris two days a week at my company and it's been the best thing for me. With a very sedentary job (web design), this class is essential for my health and well-being. It not only saves my back, and whole body, but class with Kris is an oasis of calm and peace in the middle of a stressful day. I only wish she could teach her class at our workplace 5 days a week!

Kris is a gentle, thoughtful, and thorough teacher. I like that she follows the original, traditional Yoga -- Hatha Yoga. She emphasizes that Yoga is an individual thing, a personal journey -- it is NOT a competition; good Yoga breathing is the key to letting the good in and helping the body. She is very helpful in explaining the poses, and always modifies the class to help if someone has a special request for specific poses or emphasis on a particular part of the body to work on at any time.
